For Immediate Release
Global Peace Let’s Talk (GPLT) urgently calls on the United Nations, world leaders, and the global community to immediately deploy peacekeeping forces to Gaza to halt what is fast becoming one of the worst humanitarian atrocities of our time.
We cannot stay silent while the people of Palestine face relentless bombardment, forced displacement, starvation, and the destruction of their homes. Families are being deprived of basic human necessities — water, food, shelter, safety, and are being pushed further into unimaginable suffering.
The world cannot stand by and watch as civilians, including thousands of innocent children, are herded into what amounts to a modern-day concentration camp. This is not only a grave violation of human rights but a stain on the conscience of humanity.
We call on the United Nations to honour its founding principles and act decisively: Send in international peacekeeping forces immediately to protect civilians and ensure humanitarian aid reaches those in desperate need.
Secure an immediate and lasting ceasefire to stop the bloodshed and prevent further loss of life.
Work with all parties to ensure a just, viable two-state solution that recognizes the dignity, rights, and security of both Palestinians and Israelis.
We ask: What power does any single nation hold that the collective moral courage of the world cannot overcome? Why are leaders too frightened to act when the price of inaction is the death of thousands and the destruction of an entire people’s future?
Global Peace Let’s Talk refuses to be silent in the face of genocide. We stand with the people of Palestine and all who suffer under occupation, bombardment, and displacement. We demand that our leaders have the courage to do what is right: to intervene, to protect, and to uphold the basic principles of humanity.
We call on every citizen of the world to raise their voice and join this appeal. We urge world leaders to act now or history will judge our silence just as harshly as the crime itself.
It is time to choose courage over complicity, peace over war, and humanity over politics.
